Aliskiren – Adverse effects

*Angioedema. *Hyperkalemia (particularly when used with ACE inhibitors in diabetic patients) *Hypotension (particularly in volume-depleted patients) *Diarrhea and other GI symptoms. *Rash, elevated uric acid, gout, and renal stones.
